ANNUAL AWARDS 2009 CEREMONY

 

2009 was an exciting year for finds once again.

Throughout the year, members entered their finds into a competition each month. 

Points were awarded for each entry with extra points for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each category. At the end of the year the points were totaled up and an award given to the winner of both

Coin and Artefact categories.  An award was given also to the member with the

best  Artefact and best coin of the year.

WEEKEND WANDERERS SUMMER RALLY

Oxford 18th/20th September 2009

 

The ground was a detectorists dream.

 

Ten of us attended the weekend summer rally.

We met up with, amongst others, some old friends

from the Isle of Wight detector club.

with my detector, so I washed outside

with some help from the boys
